'PlateauAccessWay's dream was simple: to bring true Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Thompson family in 1985, our pizzeria began as a cozy, family-run place with recipes handed down through generations.

During her journeys across Italy, Oliver Thompson learned the craft of pizza-making, studying under master pizzaiolos in Naples, the birthplace of pizza. Returning to the UK, she resolved to recreate the magic of authentic Italian pizza using traditional methods and top-quality ingredients.

What started as a modest 12-seat venue has blossomed into a cherished local staple, yet our dedication to quality and authenticity has never faded. We still employ wood-fired oven techniques, knead dough fresh every day, and source only the finest ingredients available.

Today, 'PlateauAccessWay' remains a family-owned operation, with the second generation of the Thompson family leading our team. While embracing a few modern innovations, the core of our business stays the same: crafting delicious, authentic pizza that brings people together.
